Join us on a guided 4x4 self-drive, self-catering African Safari when we explore the country from the Ramatlabama border crossing and head north towards Gaborone, through the Central Kalahari desert to Maun, where we will experience the Moremi and Savuti. From there we take the western Botswana into the Caprivi region of Namibia entering Botswana again near Kasane. From there we will be visiting the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, and then down the eastern Botswana right back to Ramatlabama and towards OR Tambo in Johannesburg.

You will need the following (This can be arrange)

- A reliable, serviced 4-wheel drive vehicle or 4x2 with diff-lock, good ground clearance, proper recovery points in the front and back.

- Fuel range of app. 600km’s including extra fuel containers.

- A passport that is valid for 6 months after our return to SA, valid drivers license and ID.

- Vehicle registration papers or letter of consent from the financing institution.

- Children must have a valid passport and an unabridged birth certificate and letter of consent if not accompanied by both parents.

- Guests from non-SADC countries will need a Visa.

- Camping equipment and cooking/braai goodies. A normal dome tent is also fine but no open-air camping allowed.

- Fridge/Freezer or cooler boxes. (We only carry food for the first 2 days and stock-up on supplies in Maun and Kasane)

- Malaria Prophylaxis taken as prescribed by your GP.

The price of CAD$ 4 000 pp* above 12 years (and CAD$ 2 000 pp* between 2 and 12) and this includes the following:

- A carefully planned route through the most beautiful parts of Botswana.

- All pre-booked campsites. Please note that some campsites has no facilities.

- Obstacle assessment in predator country when needed.

- All recoveries and vehicle assistance.

- 2-Way radio communication.

- A complete tour program with day-to-day itinerary, distance covered, type of terrain and scenery.

- A daily update on our planned route.

- A complete checklist for personal items, camping gear and vehicle accessories.

*Please note that these prices was calculated on the current exchange rates as of 28 September 2023: BWP = R 1-31

The current quoted price is the minimum and a price increase can be implemented according to the exchange rate.

Non included:

- Fuel

- Toll fees

- Cross border fees

- 3rd party insurance

- Fines.

- All meals and drinks.

- Entrance fees at the Game Reserves and National Parks.

- Any privately organised adventures i.e. tiger fishing, sundowner boat cruises and “off-day” activities.

Join us on a guided, Northern Cape – Botswana border Safari when we explore the country from the bushman, the oldest tribes in our country. We will be travelling over many sandy roads with a pass or two and mostly we will be on dirt roads. The Northern Cape has many dirt roads to be explore.

You will need the following:

- Travelling documents - Cash (Local currency, as there is not always electronic card machines available) - Comfortable clothing (warm clothes for the night air can be chilly)
